swimming home in heels
We push boundaries to impress each other. We drink, screw and snort, and make sure everyone knows. We are crude. We are always right. We lean in to pash a stranger at four in the morning and begin projectile vomiting without restrain. We pause, take a breath, and keep leaning in for that pash.
Swimming Home In Heels is a fifteen-minute performance in a dodgy hotel room for one audience member at a time.
Lost in a highlighted, over-stimulated and definitively pink universe, each visitor is escorted into the whirlwind schoolies vacation of three teenage girls…
There are three performers and one audience member. There is food and drink and gossip. Lies are told. Friendships are formed. A song is sung and a dance is danced. And then your fifteen minutes are up and it's time to go.
"The post girls deserve to be congratulated for Swimming Home In Heels. A thoroughly interactive work of unidentifiable genre that successfully tapped into the teen memory of Generation Y, it put more than a smile on its audience's faces and utilized a B-grade hotel room for a performance like never before. Awesome."
